The Bandstand is beautiful and truly unique. Also called the Birdcage Bandstand, it sits on Brighton and hove’ seafront. Designed by Phillip Lockwood and completed in 1884, it is designated as a grade II listed building of architectural importance. The fancy cast iron work was manufactured by Walter Macfarlane & co. of Saracen foundry in Glasgow, now operating as Heritage Engineering. It was restored to its original specification and reopened in 2009. It is a popular location for outdoor weddings.
