Hoover Building is an example of Art Deco architecture designed by Wallis, Gilbert and Partners (1932-38). John Betjeman described it as, “a sort of art deco Wentworth Woodhouse – with whizzing window curves derived from Erich Mendelsohn’s work in Germany, and splashes of primary colour from the Aztec and Mayan fashions at the 1925 Paris exhibition. Perivale’s art deco masterpiece, which watches over the A40 like a silent sentinel of the approaching city, is as glorious now as it was in its 1930s heyday.

Linescapes specialises in highly detailed CAD architectural portraits of iconic buildings, architectural landmarks and bespoke commissions. The aim is to tap onto people’s emotional relationships with buildings. Architecture can evoke memories, a sense of belonging and relate to our aesthetic sense. That’s why Linescapes collections are constantly growing with drawings of buildings that mean something to people, whether it’s a cultural landmark, an architecturally significant structure or a bespoke house portrait. Amalia’s background as an architect and consequent attention to detail and her trademark style ensures that all her products sit well together in an elegant and understated collection.

Please note:
* The colours you see on your screen may not look exactly the same as the actual product. This is because every computer, Smart phone and iPad screen is configured differently. Hopefully you will think the coasters look even more beautiful in real life.
