Shoreham Airport Glass Coaster
These beautifully made, heavyweight glass coasters feature a stunning illustration of the iconic Art Deco Shoreham Airport in West Sussex. These are the ideal gift for the architecture lover in your life, or if you love Art Deco buildings or live in the area. There are 10 designs available in the Glass Coasters section and you can save a bit of money if you choose ‘2 Coasters’ from the list.
• 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4″) & approx 3mm (1/8″)
• Heatproof and moisture resistant
• Four rubber feet lift the glass off your table, protecting it from hot items
• Handwash and dry please. The glass surface is tough and hardwearing but the reverse side (which carries the design) will scratch and fade if put through the dishwasher

Founded in 1910, Shoreham is the oldest airport in the UK and the oldest purpose build commercial airport in the world. It is now owned by Brighton City Airport Ltd (BCAL). The 1930s Art Deco terminal building is listed. Due to its listed period buildings and facilities, Brighton City Airport (as it is called now) has been used by film-makers seeking to portray a small town airport, or even for historical reconstructions of scenes from the 1930s onwards. The airport has appeared in the Netflix TV series The Crown and three episodes of Agatha Christie’s Poirot.
