Trellick Tower is a tower block on the Cheltenham Estate in Kensal Town, London. Opened in 1972, it had been commissioned by the Greater London Council and designed in the Brutalist style by architect Ernő Goldfinger. Trellick Tower has been Grade II* listed in recognition of its architectural importance. Located in Kensington, West London, it has 31 floors and contains 217 flats, most of them are still social housing, but a significant minority are now privately owned. Trellick Tower is also very similar in design to Balfron Tower, also designed by Goldfinger, and it’s located in East London.
