The client carried out extensive research on the life of his grandparents who had been the coach man and a maid in the house of a retired civil servant. The house had been replaced by social housing in the 80s so I was asked to reproduce what the building would have looked like in its day. With only an old Ordnance Survey map and sales particulars found in 19th Century newspapers, I created floor plans showing the house, and coach house layout and the gardens.
I was asked to create a print of the iconic Grand Theatre in Shanghai to be shown during the exhibition dedicated to the fascinating Hungarian architect László Ede Hudec who lived in Shaghai and built some of its most iconic buildings.
Illustration of main building, tree house and summer house.
The client, a planning lawyer, owns a house in the iconic Brunswick Square and wanted to decorate his home with two illustrations of both sides of the square.
Two projects for the owner of Fears Watches: one of the original shop and another of their new headquarters in Cambridge.
